Ievanman (Wellerman Sea Shanty and Ievan Polkka)

There have been a couple of viral music trends I've enjoyed recently: the TikTok mashup of the sea shanty Wellerman, and the resurgence of an old Finnish polka called “Ievan Polkka“, played by a blind Turkish drummer and accompanied by a “vibing cat“. Both are earworms, and I thought, “Hey, what if they went together?“ This was the result: two meme songs for one! I had a lot of fun with this one. Enjoy! Similarly, the euphonium part is pitched up a perfect 5th to mimic the French horn.
