This short film follows Narender Kaith, a Gaddi shepherd from the Kaobil village in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. Every year he and his fellow Gaddis take a herd of around 1500 sheep and goats across the Bhabha pass from the Kinnaur region of Himachal Pradesh to Spiti. This video is about his life, his journey and the difficulties faced along the way. I spent about 40 days travelling with the shepherds to make this video. Meeting Narender in the Bhabha valley was a completely random coincidence
