When Designer Pietro Frua presented the Lamborghini Faena at the Turin Motor Show in 1978, the 5, 49 m car polarised the opinions of the visitors. Not everyone was to embrace the extravagant design. But auto journalist Max Stoop wrote impressivly: “Frua managed once more, to put a four-door, elongated Berlina on a Gran Turismo chassis and to equip them with four comfortable seats without having the shape of the car suffered.“
