We wanted to test the sound of the Alesis DM7 kit in EZdrummer. There are a few complications when using this kit with EZDrummer. Some items are miss-mapped. Like the snare rim produces the sound of the ride bell. Drums can not keep up with a fast succession of hits. Single snare hits sometimes produce a flam sound. I think the quality of the kit is decent. As you can see this drummer pushes the limit of what can be done on this kit. Could be great for demo recording or recording the drums then further spicing with MIDI editing. Yes, my garage is a mess. We are in the process of selling our house so the garage got all the crap. Also note: other USB inputs did not work with this kit. I tried to record guitar using m-audio FastTrack. Both could monitor but only one input can record.
