French tenor Gaston Micheletti (1892-1959), one of the “Three Corsican Tenors,“ had a long and distinguished career, largely at the Opéra Comique, where he sang principally in the Italian and French repertoire. His most popular roles included Don José, Turridu, Hoffmann, Pinkerton, Cavarasossi and Rodolfo.
