Welcome to our quick hand sewing tutorials where you can learn the sewing methods of the 18th century Mantua Maker and Tailor. In this video we take you thru the process of handsewing a long buttonhole (this is where the buttonhole stitch is actually longer then the opening for the button). This type of buttonhole is most commonly found on men's military and civilian coats as well as outer coats.
