Join me as I trek to the holy Gaumukh site, where the Ganga pours out of the Gangotri Glacier. Gaumukh is a two-day hike from Gangotri village. The first day is 14km to Bhojbasa camp; the second day is 5km up to the headwaters of the Ganga, and then 19km all the way back to Gangotri. The trek requires patience and determination, with a high altitude of just over 13,000ft. Feel the elements, the panchabhuta, the spirits of this holy land.
