Published in 1920 and popularized in the early ‘40s by the Andrews Sisters, the tune failed to make much of an impact in the U.S. via this particular version, but it did climb to #14 on the British singles chart in early 1959. While a member of the Ray Charles Singers--who performed regularly on Perry Como’s television show--Rosemary was called out by Perry for a solo performance on occasion.
