For more information on this vehicle and to see over 100 pictures, follow the link below or click SHOW MORE. Real GTO with some tasteful custom upgrades. The colors are what I love about this car! It has been very well restored. Same owner since 1990. EXTERIOR: The body is really straight on this GTO. No rust or damage. Repainted a beautiful Royal Plum metallic color. It has a smooth glossy finish. Most of the chrome and trim looks new. It has a remote mirror. The windshield and weatherstrips were replaced. It's rolling on some nostalgic 15 inch Cragar wheels with some GT Super Sport tires. INTERIOR: Very tastefully done custom interior. It's all color matched nicely. The seats are glove soft actual leather upholstery. The door panels are custom made. The dash pad was replaced, the metal trim was repainted. Upgraded hand cut premium carpet with bound edges and matching mats. The factory woodgrain instrument panel has a tachometer, original AM radio and an 8-track player. The center console between the two bucket seats has the Hurst dual gate His n Hers shifter. Upgraded walnut steering wheel. Overhead is a new cloth headliner and matching visors. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a rebuilt 400 engine with some mild performance upgrades. The cam is a little hotter, on top is an aluminum intake with an Edelbrock carb that has an electric choke. It also has a set of headers and HEI ignition. It looks very neat and orderly. The battery is secured, windshield squirters are hooked up, it has hood insulation, plug wires are run neatly. All the hoses look new and they have reproduction clamps. It does feature power steering, a chrome alternator and a polished overflow bottle. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is boxed and upholstered. It has the same soft carpet on the floor. Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted smooth and glossy. Weatherstrip was replaced. UNDERSIDE: The front end steering and suspension has been completely rebuilt: all the bushings, ball joints etc. In back the springs and bushings have been replaced. It is upgraded with air shocks and an on board compressor. Great sounding dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and turn down tips. Factory drum brakes all around have been serviced. Looking up at the motor it's clean Pontiac blue, the starter and fuel pump look fresh. The Turbo 400 automatic trans looks fresh. The metal under this car is rust free and smooth, painted satin finish black. SERVICE: We inspected the car and fixed the reverse lights, made some adjustments to the transmission, repaired the horns, replaced the fuel sending unit, tightened suspension components, gave it a front end alignment and replaced the mufflers. This GTO will stand out from the others. It's a good looker! I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership. Visit our website to see over 300 vehicles for sale! Also check out our... Facebook:
