Lynx pouncing and hunting birds by the roadside. Manitoba

We watched this lynx hunting birds by the roadside for nearly an hour in Riding Mountain National Park in Manitoba. He pounced three times in front of us, jumping impossibly high and far each time. It was August 14th from 8 to 9 PM. We sighted it on Highway 19 near between the escarpment and Rolling River Rd. Definitely one of the most awesome sights on our American Safari.
