Hello Friends! We have so much to be excited for this spooky cute season, especially Kuromi’s birthday which is on Halloween! Today we’ll be making some delicious donuts to celebrate our friend Kuromi and things that remind her of Halloween, like ghosts, pumpkins, and candy. The only tricks here are the ones that will help you bake the most delicious treats possible. Now grab your supplies and let’s get started! Subscribe to the channel for new weekly videos: Materials Needed Plain old fashioned donuts Black gel food coloring White buttercream frosting Powdered sugar White, pink, black, blue, and orange fondant Silicone matt Frosting knife Cotton swabs Rolling pin Fondant sculpting tools Edible marker Wax paper Cut out stencil of Kuromi: Step-by-Step Instructions: (01:15) Step 1: Add an even layer of frosting to your donut. Make sure to get the middle and edges. (1:36) Step 2: Roll out the orange and black fondant. Use a little powdered sugar so the fondant doesn’t get sticky. Lay the fondant on top of the frosted donut until completely covered. (1:44) Step 3: Roll out the remaining black fondant to cut out our detail elements. Grab your stencil and cut out Kuromi’s ears and eyes. Using the white fondant, cut out the shape of her face. Roll out the pink fondant to cut out the skull on her jester hood and her little nose. (02:14) Step 4: Roll out a small amount of blue and pink fondant into 2 long strips. Twist them together and form that into a circle. Attach a small strip of blue to the bottom and now you have your lollipop! (02:30) Step 5: To assemble Kuromi, attach her jester ears to her hood with a little water as glue. Using your fondant tool, connect her hood and ears. Attach her eyes and nose with a little more water. Draw on Kuromi’s details using an edible marker. (03:11) Step 6: Take a cotton swab and use black food gel coloring to paint polka dots all over the orange fondant. Top the donut with the lollipop. For even more Halloween fun, add some other spooky sweet elements like ghosts and pumpkins! These adorable donuts are ready to be eaten or shared with friends and family at all your Halloween festivities!
