Walk with me at the University of Queensland, around the lake area, and check out the beloved jacaranda trees. Their purple leaves are one of my favourite things about springtime in Brisbane. They're an iconic part of Brisbane at this time of the year. This will be my last walk in the city of Brisbane for a little while. I'm going on a long holiday! I'm pretty excited about it all. My wife and I are travelling overseas for the first time in over 5 years. We'll be visiting quite a few places, so expect to see some videos on this channel of walking tours of a whole bunch of different places! I'll be back in Brisbane at the start of December, just in time for some Brisbane summer walks. This walk began at 4:00pm on Sunday 20th October 2024, and the temperature was 24 °C (75 °F). The perfect treadmill background (treadmill TV at its finest!), or just a nice, relaxing virtual walk in the city. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Thanks for watching! Please like and subscribe!
