A earthquake struck Malibu, California, at 7:28 a.m. on Thursday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Initially reported as a 5.1, the quake was quickly downgraded. Tremors were felt across Southern California, with reports coming in from as far as Riverside and Newport no injuries or damage have been reported, Malibu authorities are assessing roadways and buildings.
