Update on Dutch naval programs with Captain André van der Kamp, Head of Naval Programs at COMMIT (the procurement office of the Dutch Minitry of Defence), during the Combined Naval Event (CNE) 2024. ===================== The Royal Netherlands Navy (Koninklijke Marine) will see its entire fleet renewed between 2024 and 2036. The new naval programs include: - Combat Support Ship - MCM vessels (rMCM program) - Submarines (Walrus class replacement program) - ASW frigates - Auxiliary vessels - LCS air defense frigates upgrade - Future Air Defense frigates - Low Manned Surface Vessels (MICAN program) - LPD and Patrol vessel replacement Captain van der Kamp also discusses Tomahawk cruise missile procurement and a future anti-submarine warfare USV being developed to support the ASW frigate. ===================== For new videos every week, subscribe here!
