Thought to be Selected Originals from late 1940s material. Egypt. L/S of the pyramids, someone rides by on a camel. British families set out from Cairo in army lorries to start a new life in South Africa. One family, the Ashingtons, went off alone and had to be rescued by aeroplane. M/S's as the trekkers have some refreshment and cook with a spirit stove. C/U's as Carol Brown aged 3 helps to pack the eggs. C/U of a driver and his mate at the wheel of a lorry checking the route on a map. L/S as the three army lorries laden with people move off. Possibly connected with 46/99 - MD.
