This crazy looking thing is called SBR Chrono V8, is originally based on the Audi R8, its powered by the Twin-Turbo V8 BCY Engine from the 1st Audi RS6 , producing here over 750Hp, weighs only 940Kg thanks to its Spaceframed, Carbon Fiber construction, was the outright winner of the very first Quick 60 ShootOut in 2021 and placed 2nd Overall on its 2nd Edition in 2022 now at Mallory Park. Owned and driven by Simon Bainbridge, the SBRacing Crono was built in 2015 to compete as a Sprint Car on the UK circuits and has been very successful during all these years. With carbon tub front and rear subframes, its massively powerful engine mounted to a Quaife 6 speed sequential gearbox driving the Rear Wheels through a Audi S2 diff, Avon tyres, AP Brakes and possibly the most aggressive Aerodynamic package ever applied to the Audi R8 shape, it certainly has all the ingredients to become a true Monster...
