Liverpool, Merseyside. A fight for a middleweight boxing title between Pat McAteer and current Champion Johnny Sullivan in progress. GV. Ring. Pat McAteer in striped trunks lands a blow to head. Johnny Sullivan attacks. SV. Sullivan lands a terrific left to body followed quickly by right to head. McAteer moves round ropes - clinch. SV. Crowd watching. SCU. McAteer swings a left but doesn’t connect with any force. Another left and a right to head. Both boxers dance about looking for opening. McAteer throws a left which Sullivan parries and counters with terrific punch to McAteer’s body. This is followed by right to body which puts McAteer up against ropes. Sullivan slams another blow. CU. Two boxers spar about by ropes. SV. They break. Sullivan finds an opening and lands a left to McAteer’s jaw, and a right and another right, forcing McAteer to ropes. CU. People watching. SV. McAteer swings left which connects on jaw. He ducks as Sullivan barely misses with a left hook. Sullivan then forces him in a flurry
