This is the improved version of the video I made for the 50th anniversary of the first lunar landing (you may find it on my channel here: ). I've enhanced the visuals and also put some effort into make the simulation of the Primary Navigation and Guidance System (PNGS) more accurate than the previous version. So this video is a reenactment of the landing of the Apollo 11 Lunar Module as it happened on 20th July, 1969. Commander in left “seat“ was Neil Armstrong, and Lunar Module Pilot on the right side was Buzz Aldrin. Contrary to the titles, Neil was the one who has flown the bird, and Buzz has operated the systems. My intention was to show what the crew may have seen and may have known and what actions they've taken - either planned or improvised - during the 12 minutes of their powered descent. As a simulation it is not perfect but at least fairly authentic in many ways. For example the simulated computer is an emulator based on real Apol
