The Boeing CH-47 Chinook was a twin-rotor, twin engine heavy-lift helicopter with a max speed of 180 mph (289kmh). It carried a crew of 3 plus up to 33 additional troops in the cabin. The name, Chinook, is from the Native American Chinook people of Oregon and Washington state.
