What an interesting artist Lee Hazlewood was, with his career as Duane Eddy's producer, writer of hot rod/surf instrumentals, his collaborations with Nancy Sinatra, and finally, his move to Sweden. And of course his uncopyable voice. I have already recorded his classic surf-rod tune “The Hearse“ but I haven't yet made a video for it; need to get on that. (The audio is on my Hearthis page: ) Here's my version of what is probably his best-known tune, Summer Wine, a paean to 60s weirdness, and one that I have chosen to do in one of my favorite niche genres, the psychedelic spaghetti western.
