Filip is CTO and co-founder of Vue Storefront - Open Source eCommerce Frontend Platform. He is an active member of Community, co-organiser of Wrocław meetups and speaker on international and Javascript conferences. He focuses mainly on eCommerce and web Performance. Marc Andreessen, creator of Netscape wrote once that “software is eating the world“. These days we can say the same about Open Source software! You can just create a piece of code, put it on GitHub and other people will join, share their knowledge, contribute to make the project great. All of that for free and for a common good. It’s a beautiful concept but it rarely “just“ works. If you’re building a project and you want it to be successful you need to act as a developer, marketer, community manager and sometimes business owner at the same time! Sounds hard? It is hard!
