Enjoy the sound of raindrop and relax with me. As the sky darkens and thunder roars from a distance, I made my way to our saunas and fire up the heater. At times, I manage to timing it perfectly, starting the first round just as heavy raindrops start to fall onto the deck outdoors. Following a heat wave, a sauna in the rain seems like the reunion of an old friend. Tossing water upon the rocks, I recline to “ahhhhhh“ (there's no other word for it) as steam billows down, increasing the temperature and encouraging the release of that purifying, healing perspiration.
