Maysa Figueira Monjardim, or Maysa Matarazzo, was a Brazilian singer, songwriter and actress. With more than 25 albums of Brazilian popular music was the historical bridge between samba-song and bossa nova. She was born on June 6, 1936 and died on January 22, 1977.
