Simulation of sound generation and sound radiation of an organ pipe. Shown is the magnitude of velocity v in the region around the oscillating air sheet (jet). Simulation tool is OpenFOAM 2.1. The Reynolds-number is Re ~ 10000. An one-equation turbulence model (LES) is implemented. Done by Jost Fischer, Institute for Physics and Astronomy at the University of Potsdam in 2012.
