PROTO was born in San Digeo, California but over half of our first Catalyst team lineup of 10 riders were from the East Coast of the United States, 4 of whom were from New York City and founding members of ScooYork and all 3 of our full-length film premieres were dual-coast premieres with showings in NYC as a tribute to our roots in our home-away-from-home. Fast forward to 2018 with a new team lineup lacking NYC representation, but always watching the scene evolve, we spotted a new prospect with serious technical ability and control to carry the torch in New York; Thairese Farr. After significant team changes in 2019/20, Thairese stood by and was brought to the forefront while he was still filming his video part for Ohlay. Over the next few years, juggling work, life and injury his official Welcome Edit is finally here. We debated even calling this a Welcome To since you've been seeing him on the social feeds for years now but it is what it is. Thank you Thairese for your talent, loyalty, dedication and understanding and for just being you when we needed it most. And Welcome, finally.
