Switzerland: Ex-UEFA President Platini arrives in Bern for alleged illegal payment interrogations

Former French national football team captain and former UEFA President Michel Platini arrived at the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (OAG) in Bern on Monday for the first of three consecutive days of hearings with Swiss prosecutors. Platini began the first of two days of the final interrogations in the case of the alleged illegal payment of two million Swiss francs (€1.8 mln, $ mln) from the International Federation of Football Association in 2011.
