Deku Meets Melissa Shield at U.A and Gets a New Hero Costume

Deku, Izuku Midoriya, Pineapple MHA Spoilers, What if Deku, My Hero Academia, Mirko, My Hero Academia 388 Spoilers During My Hero Academia’s first movie Two Heroes, Deku met David Shield who is All Might’s old partner, as well as his daughter Melissa, who created Deku’s Full Gauntlets allowing him to use even more of his power safely in the film. Afterwards as some time goes by, Melissa visits Deku in U.A through the Team Up Program to do research on Hero Support Items, and Deku who needs a new suit links up with Melissa again and gets caught up in a competition between Melissa and Hatsumei, to prove who between the two of them is the best Support Item Designer. Mei Hatsumei makes Deku a suit that lets him dodge ANYTHING automatically without needing to control his body, but it only lasts 40 seconds. Melissa however makes Deku a new suit made out of materials that she created which looks the same as the original suit, with new heat and cold resistant properties, as well as INSANE shock absorption, but
