boygenius: 6 Music Artists of the Year 2023. boygenius have been named one of BBC Radio 6 Music's Artists of the Year. This special accolade celebrates success stories of 2023 and tips the stars for 2024. The list showcases both legends and breaking artists, illustrating a diverse selection of acts from a range of genres who have been championed across our daytime and specialist shows. boygenius are Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker & Lucy Dacus. The indie supergroup have had a hugely successful year with their debut album ‘The Record’ garnering 5* reviews across the board, it went on to chart at no 1 in the UK album charts.
