Chinese guqin virtuoso Wu Wenguang (吴文光, b. 1946) performing the ancient composition “Guangling San“ (广陵散). Filmed in China, c. early 1980s. Wu is the son of Wu Jinglüe (吴景略, 1907-1987; one of the most important guqin players of the 20th century) and transmitter of the Yushan school. The guqin is a 7-string Chinese zither traditionally played by scholars for the past two millennia.
