Shapps ‘Can’t Predict’ Johnson Govt Return UK Defense Secretary Grant Shapps has refused to support Boris Johnson if he returns to politics amid reports that the former prime minister is plotting a dramatic return to government. “I’d never seek to predict Boris’ future,” Shapps told Sky News’s Kay Burley after trying to deflect questioning to his other duties. “I haven’t spent much attention to people who are not currently members of parliament.” Burley then pointed out that David Cameron wasn’t an MP before being appointed Foreign Secretary recently.
