We open outside Seville in Mozart’s breathless Figaro overture, before drifting into dreams with Ravel’s Rapsodie espagnole. Dreams give way to dance in Ravel’s Boléro and his Pavane pour une infante défunte. Also included are two works composed for the orchestra – Kareem Roustom’s Ramal and Ayal Adler’s Resonating Sounds - both exploring the musical junctions of East and West.
