Concert-goers had EU flags confiscated at the Last Night of the Proms over the weekend, following the Royal Albert Hall issuing guidance banning flags related to protests or proscribed groups at the event. Although the venue stated the policy hadn't changed, enforcement seemed inconsistent, with some attendees having their EU flags taken by security while others entered with no issues. The ban caused concern even among those waving Union flags, worried their flags might also be confiscated. In the past, anti-Brexit campaigners have wave flags at the event as part of a pro-European Union campaign.
