What’s happening in this Elysium movie clip? After speaking with Frey (Alice Braga from Repo Men) one final time, Max (Matt Damon de la saga Jason Bourne et de Good Will Hunting) activates the program. As he dies, Elysium's core reboots and registers every Earth resident as an Elysian citizen. President Patel (Faran Tahir from Star Trek) arrives but the robots refuse to arrest Spider (Wagner Moura from Narcos), whom they now recognize as a citizen. In the year 2159, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Delacourt (Jodie Foster from The Silence of the Lambs and Inside Man) will stop at nothing to preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium – but that doesn’t stop the people of Earth from trying to get in by any means they can.
