In this step-by-step guide, we show you how to retrofit a video jack and an auxiliary (AUX) jack on your Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W221). Learn how to remove the glove box, COMAND controller unit, and dashboard trim, as well as how to drill holes in the glove box for the jack connections. We'll also show you how to connect the jacks to your vehicle's wiring harness using a 20-pin contact carrier and how to configure the jacks in the vehicle's Star Diagnosis system using DAS (Diagnostic Assistance System).
