Although I care very much about the environment, I am not an ecologist. I never voted for Syriza or any other party after the 1977 elections. I always abstained in elections. And since 2010, I have lived outside Greece. But I fully agree with Yannis Tsironis and believe he was absolutely right when he said on a television show that Kastellorizo does not belong to the Aegean Sea. Neither Gavdos belongs to the Aegean Sea. The modern Greek state has been characterized by an enormous hypocrisy and duplicity; officially all Greek governments accepted the geographical and hydrographical reality that Kastellorizo Island does not belong in the Aegean Sea. At the same time, they all misled the average Greek citizens by making them believe in misconceptions and have nationalist world views, concepts and theories. As per the demarcation of the Aegean Sea by the International Hydrographic Organization, Kastellorizo is designated as located outside the Aegean Sea:
