This video will show you my homemade flare gun. It's made completely from steel and weighs 986 grams, 1067 grams with a live shell in the chamber. This is my first full metal (steel) gun, the first gun that features a safety along with a half- and full-cock trigger mechanism, reloadable shells, and a separate spring loaded firing pin. The height of the flares when shot varies slightly, but I would guess it shoots a flare 30 meters, 100 feet, at its best. The grip and trigger guard design is from a 7,65
