March in support of Palestine at Ankara University

Ankara University students marched in protest against Israel’s attacks on Gaza and in support of Palestine. Ankara University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar and academics accompanied the students as they marched from the Rectorate building to Güneş Square, shouting slogans with Turkish and Palestinian flags. Speaking here, Prof. Dr. Ünüvar said that they were together today as university students to condemn Israel’s cruelty at a time when the freedom of Palestinians has been restricted every minute since 1948. Ünüvar said that as Turkey, they have been raising their voices since the first day and noted that Palestine is a part of the geography of our heart.
