Visit Visit our website This 1960s episode of Vagabond, narrated by Bill Burrud, takes viewers to the Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and the city of Columbia, Washington along the Olympic Peninsula, and to the top of Mt. Olympus in the Olympic Mountains. It begins with some of the sights in Victoria, including historic buildings and the Thunderbird Park’s collection of Native American totem poles. This is followed by a couple fishing off the waters of Port Angeles. Finally, an airplane flies the camera crew to the top of Mt. Olympus, where scientists (part of the 1958 International Geophysical Year studies) are living to collect data.
