Full title reads: “Westcliff. 'The Fireman's Wedding'. Fellow members of Rayleigh Fire Brigade drag decorated Fire Engine as bridal coach, after wedding of Mr H Harvey and Miss M Dwyer.“ Westcliff, (probably Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex) The bride and groom walk out of Church and under an archway formed by uniformed firemen holding their axes in the air. A photographer halts them under the arch to take their picture. C/U Mr Harvey and Mrs Harvey (nee Miss Dwyer) standing under the firemen's arch. High angle shot. The couple are showered with confetti as they walk off. They climb aboard a fire engine. A member of the boy scouts rings the bell. The fire engine, which is decorated with a white ribbon, is pulled along the streets by firemen. The are from the fire brigade of Rayleigh Urban District Council.
