Communist historian Doug Enaa Greene will lecture on the French communist philosopher Louis Althusser and his relation with the ideas of Mao Zedong. Althusser’s engagment with Mao and the Chinese Revolution allowed him to break with sterile orthodoxy and revitalize Marxist revolutionary project to develop his own ideas.
