Weekly BobBlast Issue 397 Colorful Figures… Together Welcome Back to Another BobBlast! Figures! This BobBlast is a quick demo of figures from my Carrot People files. This time though, I am painting more than one figure in my painting! For me, two together in the same painting implies a story. When I practice painting a single figure, there is not necessarily a story; it can be rather neutral, in fact. But put two figures together, you have an instant story! A colorful painting of a couple tells an upbeat story for me. In the demo, you can watch me add a second figure to an existing painting of one figure. No matter what color wheel I am using (the Universal Color Wheel or my Goof-Proof Color Wheel) I like to begin with a monochromatic color scheme - generally light orange or red.
