A group of asylum seekers, arrested over the mass assault of two New York police officers, have been released without bail, and apparently without any respect for the onlooking public. One, 22-year-old Jhoan Boada, was seen emerging from the courthouse dual-wielding middle fingers pointed straight at the press video cameras, not even bothering to hide his identity, or his contempt. Seven men were arrested over the assault, which saw a group of immigrants violently assault and rob two NYPD officers in Times Square near a immigrant shelter after becoming angry at being asked to move. The group knocked both officers to the ground, repeatedly punched and kicked them in the head, and stole a cellphone, which has not yet been recovered. The attack was captured on CCTV. The NYPD are still searching for two further suspects.
