This is one of our favorite bluegrass songs of all time! Louisa Branscomb wrote Steel Rails and it was recorded by the one and only, Alison Krauss. We performed this song years ago when Emmett first joined our group and worked it back up because so many of you requested it in the comments! And this is our first video with the blond dobro Emmett acquired in early 2021. It's a Byrl with a deeper sound, perfect for hard-driving bluegrass songs. His original mahogany Scheerhorn isn't going anywhere, it's just more suited to melodic, pretty songs. We also bought Emmett a travel dobro for Christmas so he doesn't have to put his in the belly of an airplane when we're on tour. A man can never have too many dobros, right? ►See us live at the Bass Pro Fishing Tournament free events, performing 12 PM - PM (worth getting there for AM): National Harbor, Maryland - July 17th Lake St. Clair, Michigan - August 21st Old Hickory Lake, Tennessee - September 11th Grand Lake, Oklahoma - October 16th Bull Shoals Lake,
