Soprano Sabine Devieilhe performs the dazzling “Air des clochettes“ in the title role of Delibes's Lakmé, with Stéphane Degout as Nilakantha. Lakmé, a comic opera in three acts, was composed by Léo Delibes with libretto by Edmond Gondinet and Philippe Gille. It was premiered in 1883 at the Opéra Comique. This Opéra-Comique production took place in Paris from September 28 to October 8, 2022.
