Cunard River Trip. Location of events unknown - could be on Mersey River, Liverpool. Cunard Line provides boat outings for wounded British (& Dominion?) soldiers. Jumps from one shot to another; back & forth & out of order. Shots looking down at the men and nurses seated on deck; band playing. Tracking shot looking at another ship moving along. Closer shot of other ship; w/ sailors all lined up along rail; also some up in rigging. MS 2 rather elderly officers; one at the wheel; other walks past him toward camera. Shot from ship looking down at soldiers coming aboard; also stretchers being carried up the ramp. Closer shot of men boarding ship; girl stands at top of ramp handing out cigarettes. A few civilian men arrive in car - entertainers? - and chat to some of the soldiers beside the ship. More shots on dock: man in wicker wheelchair; more stretchers being lifted out of ambulance and carried up ramp. Side view women walking up ramp; followed by Australian soldier.
