Hey everyone! Thank you for checking out the video! Mag Dk is the cornerstone of PvE dpsing and has been a mainstay for several patches now. The dragonknight's ability to produce high amounts of burst damage with the use of its standard, combined with its cleave heavy damage kit makes it a fantastic option for pretty much every scenario. Race: High Elf Mundus: Thief Food: Green Max Mag Pots: Heroism Once again, the light attacks on my CMX are bugged. If you look at the damage screen, you will see 123 landed light attacks, but the info screen shows 118 with 5 misses. I have spoken with the creator of the addon and they confirmed that it is indeed a bug. Image of the log confirming 123 la's hit, not 118: CMX: The only new change in update 38 is the rework of how the talon dot works. In order to refresh the dot, you have to wait for the full 4 second duration of the skill. If you recast it early, you will just damage the target with an upfront hit. It's best to think of talons in a single target scenario as something between necro's blastbones and templar's potl where you *cannot* recast it before it expires. The rotation is on dk is very simple with the amount of long dots it has within it's kit, but is a tad bit more challenging then before because of the talon change. Just make sure to keep up all of your dots and proc nirn on cooldown. Fill the gaps with talon casts and of course keep degen up for the buff (please zos give us igneous on the dummy). Mag sustain with talons when using max mag food can be a little difficult. I unfortunately ran out of mag late in the parse. If this is an issue for you, swap it out for engulfing. Its similar damage on the dummy and is much easier to manage. It also helps keep up your seething fury passive. Seething fury was reworked last patch where you do not spend your weapon/spell damage stacks upon a whip cast. I believe It's best to keep this up whenever possible. Even if it means recasting foo a second early. I did this a couple times throughout the parse. However with this being said, I was able to get 127k without paying attention to it in a different parse, so if you would rather not bother tracking it, it's not a big deal. I found that paying attention to weave time to manage rele ticks to be not very important on dk. This is unsurprising as there isn't really any benefit to do so on this class, unlike templar where it is more damage pre-beam to slow your weaving down and let rele work for you. In this parse for example: my weave time was a .016 which equated to 20 less rele ticks then I had in this parse. The lost spammables resulting from a slower weave came out to be about the same damage as the increased ticks so I just decided to slow weaves a bit for more consistency in avoiding any misses. Thank you all so much for watching! Keep an eye out for more necrom stuff coming your way soon. My other Necrom parses: 126k Arcanist: 129k MagPlar Check out some of my other parses from update 37!
