In this video two in-depth topics are discussed by the world-famous Bonsai master Masahiko Kimura; fertilizing and designing the directional branch of a Bonsai. The topic of fertilization is covered in other courses on Bonsai Empire extensively, but in this case it is very interesting to hear mr. Kimura's thoughts about do's and dont's regarding fertilizer selection and application. Setting the directional branch is a substantial topic as well, and it is a decisive factor in styling a Bonsai. Mr. Kimura explains how he approaches the directional branch, and the steps he takes before he starts to wire and set the branch in position.
