This bayonet is so old that in our time it has already come remade, shortened. The rings are cut off, the length is reduced by half. But, I will bring him back to his senses, well, let's start the restoration. First, I removed the old handle pad and placed the bayonet in the rust remover. Then washed, dried and oiled. The surface of the entire bayonet was cleaned with a cord wire brush. The blade was corrected on the sanding machine and began its light sanding. Only to remove small scratches and dark places from rust. The pads for the handle of the bayonet were made of walnut wood. Steel rivets.
