In kathak all hand movement can be divided in different groups on the basis of hight, angle and movements. every movement has its mood and character. In this vedio I am teaching two Complex movements 1. Alingan Hast - Litrature meaning - to embrace. it is circular type of movements showing very similar to hug. Generally it is done on angle sidewise. Head movement center-side-center showing a little shying on face with smile. basic feeling in this movement is Shringar or Love. Level of hand is on sholder level. 2. Mayur Hast - Meaning Peacock tail. when a peacock dance he opens his tail. Both hands opens as TAL CHAKRA HAST. well similar opening tail of peacock. Head Movement is with the right hand. or the hand which is towards audiance. It is also performend sidewise. feeling in this geasture is enthuziazm. Both of these movements comes in Complex movements although basic characters are similar to CHAKRA HASTA (circular movements of Hands)
