Today's video shows a BUDO (martial arts) sword parry technique called YANAGI-UKE which uses the back of the sword or MI-NE to block your opponent's sword. It is good training for TAI-SABAKI and MAAI. TAI-SABAKI is body positioning that goes from defense to offense. MAAI is the distance that is maintained between you and your opponent when you are facing off. #yanagiuke #budo #tate #maai #zanshin #samurai #samuraisword #bokken #katana #exercise #kazmethod I'm teaching this method from zoom. If you would like to take the session and for work-related requests, please messege. 【CONTACT】 worldtomatolabel@ 【Instagram】 samurai_kaz_arts 【KAZ METHOD T-SHRTS】 【 WHITE 】 【 BLACK】 【About Me】 KAZ KOBAYASHI (Performer, Writer, Choreographer) is an actor, a Japanese sword combat (Ta Te) performer and choreographer (Ta Te- Shi).
